Alabang South Station - Batangas Grand Terminal - Php 127.00 (bus)
Batangas Grand Terminal - Anilao, Mabini - Php 35.00 (jeep)
This is Anilao Port.
It took me almost an hour to get to Anilao Port due to traffic. At Anilao, you have to log in at coast guard before you take the boat ride for Coast Guard records.
Anilao Port - Tingloy Port - Php 65.00
I was fortunate enough that there were less passengers and I get to explore and own the boat for a while for some snapshots.
The bangkeros were friendly and met a few people that were also bound for Masasa Beach. Thus I was happy and able to get some personal snaps.
In the boat, I was amazed with sea, the islands in between and of course.... the sunset... which Anilao if very popular of.
The photos on this post are unedited... thats how deep blue the color of the sea at that time and the sun was shining brightly while starting to set down..
It took more than 30 minutes to get us to Tingloy port. It is a small port where tricycles are waiting for passengers.
I then took a tricycle going to Masasa. Good thing I met a couple who are also bound to Masasa for an overnight camp. Tricycle fare is Php 30.00. We were drop here and followed the trail going to the beach.
The ricefield was awesome.. I think I will try to comeback here on the right season, when the fields are all greener and more picturesque. I think harvest month is much better.

Masasa Beach is in need of full attention from the local municipality and respect from campers and travelers. The beach is dirty and damaged. Garbage are all over, the sand is mixed with bonfire ashes and fragments.
The beach shore has dead seaweeds.. on and on with other setbacks so I will stop from here. I just hope that Masasa will get its needed help soon enough.
I intended to put up my tent camp near the cave unfortunately there were a lot of campers occupying that area, so I was left with no choice but to go the other side, where the couple also set up theirs.
And after a few chitchat and photosnaps, I slept. Woke at 4 am while waiting for my neighbor camper and went back to Tingloy port for a very early boat ride...
Overall, it wasn't a satisfying trip as I was full of disappointments from cancellations and failed expectations.
The place particularly the Masasa beach isn't as lovely as I see in the internet. I guess those photos are taken years back.
But on the other hand it was liberating to be able to set my first single experience. A bucketlist scratch-off.
Total expenses for this trip is just under Php 600.00.
